Pakistan Cricket Board is ready to give former Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi farewell match on his wish in Upcoming series.
Chairman of Pakistan Super League and Head of PCB’s ExCo Najam Sethi talked to Afridi and invited him for a meeting in which PCB will decide on giving Afridi a farewell match before he officially retires from Cricket.
PCB is giving farewell series to veterans Younis Khan and Misbah ul Haq and it will be unfair with a player like Afridi to not get a farewell match on his wish.
Afridi wants to leave cricket with respect that’s why he wants to set an example by leaving with dignity. Sources said that Afridi will get his farewell match in T20 series against Bangladesh after ICC Champions Trophy.
